Location18

I'm LOVING the weather right now in London, however whilst wearing my leather snapback on the roof of Location18 near Hackney i managed to get an awesome tanline across my forehead.....!

It's not the first time that has happened aha. Plus it's not even tan it's just sunburn.... story of my life.

So yeah on tuesday i assisted a shoot for Sleek Magazine, it was a Katie Eary exclusive and it was AWESOME! The images look great and i can't wait to see the magazine. The vibe was gangster vampire with cans of rubicon and gummy snakes aha! It was at Location18 which is THE best studio i've ever been to, it was perfect.

Me and Katie did our own shoot on the sly. ENJOY!

New In

Hey! I've been such a busy cat recently i've not been able to blog and it's been killing me! I've been trying to make up for it via instagram (here) but it's just not the same! I'm still in the midst of writing my dissertation, i only have a few weeks left before it's due so i have to really concentrate on it! I wanted to show you guys my most recent purchases/gifts. I've reworked some of my instagram outfit posts and images of the items above.

The first is the Christopher Kane aqua clutch, i've been lusting over this for so long. I'm a big fan of Christopher Kane, especially AW11, the gel/jelly pieces are awesome and really eye catching. My first chance to get one was last summer at the Christopher Kane Sample sale, i resisted as my friend told me i could get it cheaper so i held back. I WISH I HADN'T! As i could never manage to find a cheaper one, however with perseverance and constant online scanning for a good year or so landed me this wonderful Green/Blue Aqua Clutch. Happy indeed ^.^ ! I just sit and play with it, so squishy! aha

The second is the White Embroidery Cut Out sweater from Zara, i'd seen this on so many people and in so many places and thought that it was sold out everywhere, but i got an email from Zara saying it was back in stock online so i just sort of spasmed and bought it there and then? I think i have a problem... I also found another beautiful sweater from Zara but i'll post that soon!

And Finally my SS13 Katie Eary Tee!! The most luxurious printed tee ever, it's beautiful and so comfy, perfect for the summer, if England decides to sort itself out weather-wise.... Massive Thank you Katie for the Tee ^.^! You can get all of the SS13 Tees online now at www.katieeary.co.uk

I cannot wait to finish University and move to London!

Get in touch me with on tumblr/twitter/facebook/instagram ! ^.^

Holland

I'M HAVING BLOGGING WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS!!! :'(
Since im in my third year of university I'm so busy with my dissertation (How High Fashion is a more powerful and relevant form of theatre than traditional theatre) Directing and work placement modules. I just feel like i'm busy all the time! We had a reading week recently and it was my friend Pierres 21st birthday so me and my friends went on a road trip to his home in Holland.  Catching the Channel tunnel to France and then driving through Belgium etc. The road trip was awesome and takes about aslong as it takes for me to drive back to my home in Manchester, so i'm pretty used to long car journeys.

We Cycled ALOT. Pierres parents got me and my friends 10 bikes to cycle all around holland, we visited loads of places that i cannot remember the name of, just be sure that there was alot of food, alcohol and Chocomel (dutch chocolate milk ^.^). The images above are mainly from the Sex Museum in Amsterdam which was really funny. We passed through the Red light district and i really didn't know how to feel about it all, i really didn't like it. I felt bad for the women but i guess every single woman has their own reason for being there, some negative and some maybe positive? You can't just put them all under the same label. We then headed to a club called Escape for Pierres birthday, however we did not know that it was an all asian party called 'Dirty Asian'......! They let us in anyway as they couldn't stereotype against us haha. We had an awesome night which then involved getting a double decker train at 4am and then cycling home for about an hour..... O_O. ALL GOOD FUN THOUGH!

Now i feel super fit and healthy? I was also able to keep up with all London Fashion Week shows etc on my phone, i streamed the KTZ show live and now can't stop looking at my Tarot cards without imagining the collection. Also managed to squeeze in some SHOWstudio live panels. So i didn't miss out too much! ^__^ I also got to see all my friends wonderful outfits eg. Siqi, Randa and Nathan!

I've been posting alot of outfits on instagram lately so follow me there @Gallucks  or

Seoul Diary: Tim Burton Exhibition

You weren't allowed to take pictures at the exhibition wtf?! So here are all mine and Danielles sneaky photos, enjoy! I think we did quite well?! ^___^

When i visited Seoul i was lucky enough to catch the last leg of the Tim Burton Exhibition that was finishing at the Seoul Museum of Art, it started in 2009 and travelled around the world since. I love Tim Burtons work and me and my friends even dedicated our production last semester to his aesthetics and looked to his earlier works such as Vincent to influence and inspire us. In fact i did an essay on Corpse Bride for my film studies at A level and also included his works for my Romanticism essay during my second year!

Whilst viewing the exhibition you get to see how Burtons work has developed from his childhood to adulthood. It's not just the way he draws but its the entire world he creates for his characters and the sense of gloom and disappointment that he pulls off in such a witty/humorous way at times.

From sketches/sculptures to films his work is greatly appreciated all over the world and so it should because it's incredible! One of the sculptures i couldn't get a picture of  because i would have needed flash, but it was a neon work called Carousel (found one on google images, click here !) it was beautiful and so inspiring.

I just got back from Holland, i can't keep up with my own life, im still blogging Seoul a month after ive been! haha DAMN YOU LIFE!!!
Hope you're okay ^__^

Seoul Diary: Seoul Tower

I feel like Seoul should be a city from the world of Pokemon, the name, the futuristic/convenient  lifestyle and the epic climb me and my friends had to make to reach the top of Seoul (Namsan) Tower.

We started our journey by going up a steep hill of stairs, leading to a sideways elevator. Once at the top we then had to queue to get a cable car that took us halfway up the mountain that Seoul Tower is built upon. The cable car was interesting as i didn't really enjoy the fact that about 40 of us were being suspended in mid air by what can only be described as a thick rope. Despite this terrifying/horrific experience of the cable car, it only took about 5 minutes and we then got to climb some wonderfully steep wooden steps to get to the base of Seoul tower.

If you know about Seoul tower or have seen images you may know about the padlock tradition, where couples/friends/lovers place padlocks on the railings (or anywhere they can!) Usually with small love notes or written on the padlocks. (quite fitting for valentines day eh? Me = foreveralone).

At the base of Seoul tower, there are shops, restaurants and a teddy bear museum (wtf). You then have to get what seems like the Great Glass Elevator, it was super fast and they play a movie on the ceiling of it!? This then takes you to the observation floor where you can see an amazing view of Seoul, we watched the sunset and then saw the city light up as darkness fell.

The view was really quite special and something you should definitely see if you go to Seoul.
But remember, we then had to make the trip DOWN the mountain, and if you speak to my friend Danielle, i'm sure she will point out that i slipped down the wooden stairs and landed on my ass.

U_U SEOUL TOWER YAY !!!
(there are no rare pokemon to be found at the top of Seoul tower, but they do have some really great popcorn :D)
